CHORAL WEDDING AT DEVONPORT

KILGOUR -FALLA n event which aroused considerable interest took place in St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Dfvonport, on Wednesday, when Miss Dorothy Jean Falla «as married to Mr. John Robertson Kilsour. The Rev. W. Lawson Marsh, M A., officiated, assisted by the Rev. George Eudd. The bride, who entered the church 0 n the arm o£ her father, wore a dainty period frock of ivory georgette. The tight-fitting bodice had long sleeves and was finished with a yoke of blonde lace. The skirt of tiered georgette had an inset panel of blonde lace> and showed an uneven hemline. The embroidered veil was fastened at the sides with clusters of orange blossom. She cai * riecl a shower bouquet. The bridesmaids. Miss Nell Falla and Miss Jean Budd, wore frocks of primrose sprigged taffetn made in early Vic:orian style. with hats to tone. They carried primrose shaded bouquets. The best man was Mr. James Healy, cousin of the bridegroom, while Mr. Gordon Medland acted as groomsman. The church was beautifully decorated by friends of the bride, and the service was fully choral. After the ceremony a reception was held in the Masonic Hall, where Mrs. Kal a received the guests wearing a french frock of black chantilly lace and black hat of bungkok straw. She carried a flame coloured bouquet. Mrs. J. R. Kilgour. mother of the bridegroom, wore a frock of marine blue marocain with blue crinoline hat. She carried a crimson bouquet.
