GARLAND—HART Much, interest was centered in the " edding at St. James’s .Presbyterian Church, Pukekohe, on "Wednesday, i ulien Myrtle Iris, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Hart, of Pukekohe, was married to Raymond Hosking, second son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry 1\ Garland, of Aka Aka. The Rev. J. j Pattison officiated and Mrs. W. Mc- | hwen, of W aiuku, presided at the !organ. j Given away by her father, the bride j wore a charmingly simple frock of ivory georgette of uneven hemline, ex- | Quisitely hand-painted in pastel shades i and silver. Her embroidered veil of j white tulle was held in place by tiny j clusters of orange blossoms at either j side. She carried a shower bouquet of I cream roses and sweet peas. The bride was attended by , two i maids, Misses May Smith and Ethel ; Reynolds. Their sleeveless frocks of , uneven hemline were of primrose georI gette with corsages and hip-yokes of J lace, finished with a french bow to | tone. Each wore a soft straw hat with , touches of brown, and both carried ‘ bouquets of roses and sweet peas. | Mr. Cyril Garland attended 'liis brother as best man, and Mr. Harold Craig, cousin, as groomsman. At the reception, Mrs. Hart received her guests wearing a frock of navy blue beaute with a hat to tone. She carried a bouquet of argentine sweetpeas and roses. Mrs. Garland wore a navy blue sultan cloth frock, with a hat to match. Her bouquet was of pink roses and sweet peas. The young couple left by motor-car on a tour of the North Island, the bride travelling in a chic brown costume with a bangkok hat to tone, i They intend to reside at Aka Aka.
