MANY DANCERS
NOVEL LIGHTING A most enjoyable evening was spent by dancers at the Click Cluck Cabaret : on Saturday, special lighting effects | being used to give a novel and charm--1 ing appearance to the scene. Several new dance numbers were played by the ! cabaret orchestra, these being greatly i appreciated. Among those present wore: f Mrs. G. Barr, whose frock was of georI .Mrs!'' l'l et Farrel'l wore a black beaded | georgette frpok. ! Mrs. Desmond (Sydney), had chosen a I frock of black chenille velvet, j Mrs. Patterson was in an ankle-length , frock of cameo pink satin, j A pretty frock of ivory pleated georgette was chosen by Mrs. Russell. Mrs. Spencer wore georgette in tonings of tangerine and gold. "Miss Joan Lvons was frocked in lemon satin, with a bouffant skirt of tulle. Miss Gwenth MeXaughton’s frock was of silver tissue and georgette. Powder blue crepe do chine, with an uneven liem-line was worn by Miss Gemmell. M iss J. Garlick was wearing a black satin beaute frock. White georgette and silver tissue was favoured by Miss Enid Wellford. A frock of spotted georgette over black satin was Miss Watson’s choice: Miss K. Johnson had on a dainty frock of pink satin and gold lace. Miss Menzies chose a pink chiffon frock. Vliss Dawson was wearing shell pink crepe fleuri, with an uneven hem. Miss Carr had on a sedge green taffeta frock, with a deep hem of gold lace. Miss Phyllis Hill was in turquoise blue taffeta. A frock of floral georgette was' worn by Miss Slater. Miss Margot Barr was frocked in silver tissue and georgette.
Lacquer red chenille velvet was chosen by Miss Henderson. Miss R. Bayley chose buttercup taffeta, with a silver lace hem. ■Miss L. Wilson was in a ring velvet frock of powder blue.
