KEROSENE AND GANCE®
NEED FOR CAUTION URGED HIGH MEDICAL OPINION Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. Inquiries at the highest medical sources indicate the need for caution in adopting the use of kerosene for cancer. It has a certain value in medicine in the treatment of some ulcer* five conditions of the bowels, but ths type of case for which such treat* ’ ment is suitable, and the method of application both require mature medical judgment. In literature of recent years, dealing with cancer, there are no references to the value of kerosene and allied substances in the treatment of ti* malady. The eagerness of the inedb cal profession to discover and apply a useful therapeutic agent for the cure or even relief of patients suffa> ing from cancer is shown by the army of workers in cancer Institutes and laboratories in the leading countries of the world. Never before in the history; of medicine has so much scientific energy and study been directed toward the cancer problem.
