PETS FACE JUDGES
CAT AND DOG SHOW AWARDS AT NEWMARKET A very satisfactory number of entries, considering that at this time of the year dogs and cats are losing their coats were received for the midyear cat and dog show held under the auspices of the Auckland Toy Dog 'Club, which opened in the Municipal Hall, Newmarket, yesterday. The club also holds a show in July and arranges parades from time to time. Entries in the Schipperke section were a record for the Dominion, and there were also a good number of competitors in the classes for King Charles spaniels, a breed which is coming into favour rapidly in Auckland.
