AIRPLANE DISASTERS

TWO MACHINES CRASH IN AMERICA LOSS OF LIFE UNKNOWN NEW YORK, Thursday. Two airplanes from the Roosevelt Field crashed in the vicinity of Westbury, Long It is reported that some persons were killed. A four-motored Foltker monoplane—one of the largest machines in the United States—was being tested for the Department of Commerce, when it fell and struck a house which was set on fire. A second houes was also ignited and both were destroyed. The police have not ascertained how many people were involved in the accident. Later in the day a student who was flying alone in a small airplane fell into a real estate office in the heart of the town and was fatally injured.
