HIT-AND-RUN DRIVER
CYCLIST KILLED ON HUTT ROAD GIRL COMPANION STRUCK Press Association WELLINGTON. Today. Charles Bell, aged IS, of the Hutt Road, Petone, was ruu down on the main road near Lower Hutt by a motor-car while cycling along at 5.30 last evening. He died later in hospital. An employee of the Hutt Valley Power Board heard the crash, and took the number of a car going north which he presumes to have been the cause, of the accident. Bell had in front of him Miss Willis, daughter of Mr. H. C. Willis, of Waterloo Road, Lower Hutt, who w r as severely shaken and cut. The bicycle was smashed.
