FLYING IN HAWKE’S BAY
FIRST PRIVATELY-OWNED PLANE • Press Association DANNEVIRKE, Today. Hawke’s Bay’s first privately-owned plane, a Gipsy Moth, purchased by Mr. Hamisli Armstrong, of Akitio, while recently in England, was flown to Dannevirke from Wellington yesterday by th© owner, accompanied by Mr. Horae© Riddell. A stop was made at Martinborougn. The machine behaved splendidly and left Dannevirke this morning for the owner’s home on th© coast.
