QUEEN CARNIVAL

DOMINION ROAD CONVENT With th© object of raising further funds for the new school of the Good Shepherd Convent in Telford Avenue, Dominion Road, a “Fairyland Carnival” is being held in the Zealandia Hall, Dominion Road. Three queens are being supported, each having a. stall, and competition is keen. In addition there are the usual sideshows and the various attractions which go to the making of a successful carnival. The carnival was opened last evening and will continue tonight and tomorrow afternoon and evening. The Mount Eden Boys’ Band will be in attendance and will play selections.
