J. SAXON MILLS DEAD
Reed. 10 a.m. LONDON, Wednesday. The death has occurred of Mr. J. Saxon Mills, the author.
J. Saxon Mills was a graduate of the Universities of Manchester and Cambridge. lie was a barrister, but he deserted law for journalism and was for some time on the editorial staff of the “Daily News,” becoming editor of “The Cape Times.” He wrote “Landmarks of British Fiscal History.” “England’s Foundation." “Agriculture and the State,” “The Panama ’Canal.” “The Future of the Empire,” “The Question of Thrace,” lives of Sir Edward Cook and Sir Hubert Herkomer. “Press and Communications of the Empire, “David Lloyd George, War Minister.”
