A NATIONAL THEATRE
GOVERNMENT SUPPORT POSSIBLE
British Official Wireless RUGBY, Wednesday. Steps toward the establishment of a national theatre in London were taken yesterday at a conference. Sir Johnston Forbes-Robertson, the wellknown actor, presided. The scheme is to be placed before the Prime Minister, Mr. Ramsay MacDonald, who has promised to consider the possibility of Government support. The promoters already have in hand a sum of £90.000, which has been voluntarily subscribed.
