The Hon. E. W. Alison, M.L.C., arrived by the express this morning. yi r H. G. R. Mason, M.P., arrived j n Auckland from Wellington by this morning's express. The Kev. W. Elliott. Knox Church, fjonville, has been extended a call to Whangarei Presbyterian Church. Mr. R- D. Wlgley, managing director of the Tongariro Park Tourist Company, arrived in Auckland today. Mr. S. H. Jenkinson. assistant-loco-motive engineer for the North Island railways, arrived by the Limited today. Mr. D- Ardell. of the Internal Affairs Department, is visiting Auckland to complete arrangements in connection with the visit of the American tourists on the Malolo. Mr. J. S. Fletcher. M.P., and Mrs. Fletcher, are leaving today for a week’s launching vacation. It is Mr. Fletcher’s intention to visit Kawau and neighbouring islands. Mr. W. Goodfellovv. managing director of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., who left for Wellington last evening, will be away from Auckland for about 10 days. Archbishop Redwood, of Wellington, in visiting Timaru, where he will attend the jubilee of the introduction of n ins to that town.
