FORMATION IN AUCKLAND

An Ulster Society is to be formed in Auckland. This was decided at an enthusiastic meeting on Tuesday evening by more than 80 people. Mr. John Alexander presided. A committee consisting of Messrs. J. C. Entrican. W. W. Warnock, G. Johnston. J. Rainey. T. E. Montgomery. the Rev. Mr. Gilmour and the chairman, was appointed to draft a constitution for consideration at a later meeting. Messrs. J. C. Entrican and T. E. Montgomery was appointed honorary secretaries, pro tern. It was decided that membership of the society should be open to all persons born in the nine counties of Ulster and their descendants.
