AVONDALE BOWLING CLUB MEMBERS ARE HOSTS
A PLEASANT EVENING The Oddfellows’ Hall. Avondale, was the scene of an enjoyable function on Saturday evening, when the Bowling Club member? held a dance and five hundred entertainment. Excellent music was supplied by the Juvenile Five. Mr. P. Adams acted as M C. Winners of the five hundred were: Mrs. Potter, 1; Mrs. Kxler, 2; and Mr. Witham, 1; and Mr. Clough, 2. Among those present were: Mrs. J. E. Ellis, who wore kingfisher hlue silk marooain; Mrs. H. Potter, blue (torsi crepe de chine; Mrs. Exler. black headed georgette and black silk coat; Mrs. Hintcn, navy blue crepe de-chine; Mrs. Cantell, mauve georgette and creani all-over lace; Mrs. P. Morrish, pink satin and goorge te, with silver lace; Mrs. Butler, pink voile frock; Mrs. W. Clough, -»xe blue georgette; Mrs. C. Llanham] lime lace frock and maize shawl; Mrs. c. ■T. Pooley, Itame coloured crepe de chine with black shawl; Miss T. Pooley. primrose georgette with satin to tone; Miss K Rogers, primrose georgette with Span-,-h shawl to tone: Miss J. Redshaw, salmon crepe tie chine with silver; Miss J. Rogers, green lace over maize satin. Miss Marion Shaw chose lemon georsett#*, relieved with gold; Miss Thelma Hankin. almond crepe de chine and gold lace; Miss Clam Armstrong, black lace over red crepe de chine: Miss Dulcie Vibert, pink crepe de chine with silver panel ; Miss H. San field, mauve crepe de • iune with uneven hemline; Miss E. Meeks, turquoise taffeta and shawl to match; Miss (J. Harrington, apricot taffeta and lace overdress; Miss Belleni, turquoise blue georgette with guipure silk lace skirt, uneven hem; Miss U. Carroll, nil green silk lace, uneven hemUne, over green satin; Miss Nellie Nunns, blue net and taffeta, trimmed with diamente; Miss Jean Richardson, pale lemon and apple green net. petalled skirt, over lemon crepe de chine.
