The function is to be held on Friday, January 3, at the Town Hall. It is hoped that every women’s organisation will be represented, and endeavour to make the farewell a success, for her Excellency has always shown such great personal interest in all branches of women’s activities. A committee has been formed to assist Mrs. Campbell, comprising the following ladies:—Lady Sinclair-Loekhart, Mrs. Averill, Mrs. A. M. Ferguson, Mrs. W. H. Parkes, Mrs. Bradstreet, Mrs. J. T. F. Mitchell, Mrs. F. A. Lindsay, M,rs. W. R. Wilson, Mrs. Coats, Mrs. Cammell, Mrs. Alfred Kidd, Mrs. Alan Mulgan, Mrs. McNair (hon. secretary), Miss Mowbray, and Miss Carnachan. A small presentation will also be made to her Excellency, commemorative of her stay in New Zealand. It is asked that organisations make an early .request to the secretary as to how many tickets will be required.
