PENWOMEN ENTERTAINED

DRAMATIC PROGRAMME The dramatic section of the Pcnwomen's League gave an entertainment on Friday afternoon, the convenor of the section, Airs. Griffiths, presiding in the absence of the president, Airs. Stuart Boyd. The programme included a Japanese play, “The Alirror,” read by Airs. Griffiths, Aliss Peacock and Aliss Bertram; a dramatic recital, “Comedy and Tragedy,” by Aliss Raie Robinson; an original recital, “A Visitor from Alars,” by Aliss Elsa Craig; and three attractive monologues, “The Old Front Door,” “A Bunch of Roses” and “Colds—in Three Sneezes,” by Airs. Griffiths and Aliss Elsa Craig. Songs were also given by Aliss Alice Greville, “The Geisha Girl,” and Aliss Craig, “L’Art Exquise” and “At Sunset.” A vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Mildred Staley was carried by acclamation.
