STRIKE IN BULGARIA
REPARATION DEMANDS RESISTED SOFIA, Thursday. The second strike within a week is in progress in Sofia against the reparation demands of the Allies. All the factories, shops and banks were closed today for three and a-half hours. Crowds of people demonstrated in front of (he foreign legations against the Allies’ demand for £500,000 a year for 36 years. Bulgaria has offered £IOO,OOO conditionally upon a five years’ moratorium.
