Pieces and bellies met with a good demand, but the small offering from early shorn iambs was hardly inquired lor. Bidding was animated. The bulk of the growers met the market and a fair proportion of those who were dubious at lirst did business afterward at the market figure. Taken as a whole the sale must be considered an entirely satisfactory one on present market t o,lues. -shabby clips in some cases were dearer than anticipated.
