There was a large and representative selection of greasy Merinos. ; Prices were maintained. There were j some withdrawals owing to high rei serves. New Zealand greasy Merino, I Taradale, 15£cl top price, l Ud average. SALES AT SYDNEY j At the Sydney wool sales today there i was extremely keen competition from i Yorkshire and the Continent. As a I result, the market for all fine spinning j wools was equal to the best .rates for tho week. Greasy Merino sold to 34\d, ; which is a new record for this seaj son. In all, 10,123 bales were sold.
