GUN CLUB ACTIVE

METROPOLITAN SHOOTS The Aletropolitan Gun Club will hold its usual fortnightly shoot at New Lynn on Saturday. The chief match will be one of fifteen birds, for a trophy presented by Air. A. I-lannigan. There wTll also be a match for those members who have never won a trophy in the club, the trophy being presented by Air. A. E. Brown. There will also be sweepstakes, gimcracks and double rise shoots. On December 14 the club is holding its Christmas shoot, when there will be an abundance of prizes, such as hams, turkeys, puddings, cakes and other Christmas fare. These shoots will be arranged so that everyone will get a prize, there being about four or five matches with seven or eight prizes for each match.
