EXPLOSION IN SHOP
THROWN AGAINST WALL An explosion, thought to have been caused by a detonator, occurred at premises occupied by Mr. H. Swatfield, butcher, Otahuhu, this morning. Mr. ft. J. Handisides, an employee, was engaged near the boiler when an explosion occurred. He was thrown some distance against a wall and was dazed, but escaped injury from flying fragments. No damage was 1 done to the building.
