Press Association A rASTERTOX. Wednesday. Th annual meeting of shareholders of the New Zealand Farmers’ Cooperative Distributing Company was held today. MivJ. J. Bryce, chairman of directors, presided. The annual report stated that the , surplus of assets over liabilities had I increased from £72.166 in 1923 to | £155,933 in 1929. as a l'esult of inj creased business. New records had * been made in both the trading and | commission departments. The net profit for the year amounted to a record of £15.327. The payment of a dividend of 7 per cent, on the capital called and paid would absorb £7,250, i and £2.000 would be added to the re- , serve fund. The retiring directors. Messrs. E. , Eagle. G. L. Marshall, and A. Stuart, ; were re-elected.
