CHEAP EXCURSION FARES i To enable people from all parts of j the province to attend the official ; opening of the Auckland War Memorial , Museum, the Railway Department has j decided to introduce special excursion j fares. j Tickets under this scheme will be issued on November 27. 28, and 2D. for ' trains arriving in Auckland until 2 p.m. on November 2D. They will be available for return until December 2. This will enable visitors from the Au- kland Province to attend the official opening ceremony by the Governor-General, and the Maori function on the following day. The Government has declined the request to provide free passes to native repre- ! sentatives.
