A considerable amount of business *• will come before Mr. Justice Herdman at the quarterly Supreme Couit sessions, opening in Hamilton on Tues- ! day. Fourteen charges of theft are set down for hearing against John Martin ( Bishara and Geoffrey Alvi Tray hum, j involving the alleged theft of motor* i cars in connection with their business l at Taumarunui. The two accused will | also appear for sentence on a charge j of failing to account for moneys reI ceived. Other charges to be preferred are ; against Fecllla May Wilks, of wilfully j detaining a postal packet; Geoffrey I Alvi Trayhurn, theft and false pre- ! tences; and George Ivan Jenkin, car--1 nal knowledge. There is a large number of civil i cases and the divorce proceedings are ! expected be lengthy.
