FINES FOLLOW NEGLECT Having failed to send in scales for re verification at the required time, four defendants were convicted tit the Pulico Court this morning. Inspector Price, giving evidence for the department, said that there was no suggestion ot short weight. Edward Beezar, M. Daya and A. S. Hodgson were each lined 10s and costs. Mrs. L. V. Hadrup was convicted and discharged.
