WANGANUI ROUSED

KEEN INTEREST IN COUNCIL ELECTION MUNICIPAL CONTROVERSY From Our Own Correspondent WANGANUI, Today. Because of the recent tramway dispute and other municipal troubles in Wanganui great interest is being taken in the forthcoming election of two members to the City Council. Six have been nominated for the positions, and it is noticeable that several of them have followed Wanganui’s tramway tangle with great interest and much comment. Particularly Mr. W. Adams, who led in the formation of the Western Ratepayers’ Association. He is supported by 12 nominators. Other nominations are:—Messrs. D. Dwyer, R. J. Jackson, H. Lawrence, W. M. Luxford, and L. Pleasants.
