LOAN FROM N.Z. COUNCIL Press Association WELLINGTON. Monday. J The Dominion Council of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association met tonight and approved a loan of £ 300 to the Wellington Association for providing a grandstand on the association’s courts at Miramar. The Canterbury delegates were the onlyopponents to the proposal. The chairman of the council. Mr. A. G. Henderson, said the constitution had been amended to enable the parent body to lend trust moneys with or without security. A presentation ot' a silver entree dish was made to Mr. W. J. Melody in recognition of his services to tennis. ,
