F I through it. thus cutting out six level- j a crossings, was placed by the borough council before officers of the Railway Department today. It was pointed out by the Mayor, Air. S. R. Fow, that traffic was becoming so congested it was necessary’ to have i some railway rearrangement. The ! council was also desirous of proceeding with a town-planning scheme, but ; ij was unable to do so until it knew the t] ! department’s policy. j a i An inspection of the ground was j a ; made and a report promised, though j a I the officers held out little hope of the j I proposal being adopted.
