OFF DAY AT RICCARTON Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. Track work at Riccarton this morning was very uninteresting, most of the horses doing only steady pace work. A few were sprinted, mostly on the plough. Dutch Money went a fine trial on the grass in 1.3 for five furlongs, Gold Cure on the plough taking 1.4 4--5. Piuthair beat Novar over six in 1.17 4-5. Black Mint and Kiri an a went a mile in 1.46*, while Tresham and Tourist ran six in 1.21. Tcheka and Duellona accomplished a mile in 1.44 2-5. Glenrowan, Money •Mine, and Black Duke cut out seven in 1.31 3-5. Gold Tinge and Stealth .ran five in 1.3 4-5, and Arrow Lad alone showed 1.3 for the same journey. Royal Saxon beat Waving Corn over five in 1.2 3-5, while Blue Metal and Francolin finished a half in 51. Narrative and Positive took 1.22 for six, and Solgele slipped over a half on the grass in 50. Silver Paper went about six on the grass, Aspiring joining in for the last half, which was done in 49 4-5.
