WOMAN KNOCKED DOWN

STRUCK BY MOTOR-CYCLE Slight concussion and minor abrasions were suffered by Mrs. A. Filmer, of 32a Ireland Street, Ponsonby, as th£ result of being knocked down by a motor-cycle and side-car while wheeling a pram across the roadway near the intersection of Wellington and Hobson Streets yesterday afternoon.

The motor-cycle, which was said to have been driven by Mr. John Wilson, of 1 Jessell Street, Grey Lynn, struck Mrs. Filmer when swerving in an endeavour to avoid a collision with a motor-lorry.

The injured woman was treated by a doctor and later able to proceed home.
