ERUPTION KILLS 300
GUATEMALA VOLCANO SPREADS DEATH BODIES IN MOLTEN ROCK ( United. P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) VANCOUVER, Tuesday. Dispatches from Guatemala City report that it is estimated that 300 persons were killed and 200 others injured hy the volcanic eruption of the volcano Santa Maria, which was continued with renewed fury early today. Fifty bodies have been recovered. It is thought that the bodies of many of those who died have been cremated by molten rock.
