HOSPITAL BOARD VACANCY

ONE CANDIDATE WITHDRAWN The decision to withdraw the nomination of Mr. A. H. Tapper for the vacant seat on the Auckland Hospital Board has been reached by the Tuakau Town Board. The two remaining candidates are Messrs. H. P. Garland and G. T. Parvin, nominated by the Franklin County Council and the Pukekohe Borough Council, respectively. A postal ballot is t.o be held among the members of the four constituent local authorities in Franklin.
