BIGAMY CHARGE

OFFENCE AT HAMILTON ALLEGED Charles Mozart Spinley, a labourer aged 45, was charged at the Police Court this morning with going through a form of marriage at Hamilton on January 17, falsely stating that he was a bachelor. On the application of Chief-Detect-ive Hammond, who said that the man was at the Supreme Court and could not be brought down today, a remand was made until November 14, when the police would be ready to proceed with the charge.
