AVONDALE BRIDE

BRIGHT DECORATIONS WILLIAMS—WALTERS A very dainty wedding took place in the Baptist Church at Avondale on Wednesday afternoon, when Marjory Olive, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Walters, of Old Windsor Road, Avondale, was married to Harold Jack, only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Williams, of Wolsely Road, Avondale. The Rev. Ivnowles Kempton officiated and Miss Ivy Stenner was the organist. The church was prettily decorated for the occasion by the bride’s friends. The bride’s frock of ivory georgette had a close-fitting bodice finished with a deep berthe collar, and a scalloped skirt with tiny frills. Her tulle embroidered veil, held in place with a coronet of orange blossom and lovely shower bouquet completed a charming ensembk. The bridesmaid. Miss D. Walters, was wearing a shell pink georgette frock with tliree-tiered skirt and a swathed belt finished with diamente buckle. She carried a lemon bouquet. The flower girl, Miss Audrey Lauder, was wearing blue taffeta with tiny net frills, and a hat to tone. She carried a basket of pink flowers. Mr J. Stenner acted as best man. The bride’s mother was wearing a fawn embroidered crepe de chine frock with hat to tone, and carried a posy of autumn-tinted flowers. The bridegroom’s mother was wearing a smart deep rose satin frock, with bat to tone, and carried a posy of sweet peas.
