Popular Cabaret Holds i Carnival “JOURNEY’S END” VISITORS A very gay evening was spent at the Click Clack Cabaret on Saturday, many dancers being present. The band was in excellent form, several new numbers being played, which met with much appreciation from all present. Later in the evening the members of the “Journey’s End” Company arrived. Brightly-coloured streamers were lowered among the dancers, and added to the carnival effect. The entire evening was one of gaiety and enjoyment. Among those present were: Miss Laurence, who wore a frock of rose georgette, with pastel blue appliques. Miss Elaine Robb chose a charming frock of sky blue georgette, with a large shoulder Spray in pale cyclamen shade. Miss Doris Stewart wore a frock of black georgette and lace. An ankle length frock of apricot taffeta and net was worn by Miss Roberts. Mrs. Wright had on black beaded georgette with uneven hemline. Mrs. Hilliard was wearing a black silk net frock with sequined design. Mrs. Croft had chosen a smart frock of floral taffeta, ankle length. Mrs. C. Anderson was in a lovely frock of pastel pink georgette over taffeta with lace relieved with blue. Mrs. Williamson had chosen rose pink georgette and silver lace with uneven hem. Miss Joan Lyons was wearing ivory embossed chenille velvet and georgette. Miss D. Field wore a french model frock with gold lams skirt and sequined bodice . Miss I. Condon chose de menthe green geoi-gette %ith spray of real flowers. Miss E. Griffiths (.Suva) was in parrna violet crepe de chine with tangerine bow. Miss E. Snry was wearing pale green taffeta and gold lace, with uneven hem. Miss H. Grunt was frocked in lemon georgette, ankle length. Miss "Watts wore eau de nil taffeta and gold lace. Miss Nairn wore ankle length floral georgette and lace. Miss Simpson was in shell pink taffeta with bouffant skirt. Mi's. Davis chose black beaded georgette . Miss Parr was in daffodil georgette and net with silver girdle. Miss E. Stark had on crimson taffeta, uneven hem. Miss M. Sutherland wore blue embossed chenille and georgette with diamente. Miss Elsie Gibbs had on ivory satin and lace.
