RECORD HIGH JUMP (Special to THE SUN) NEW PLYMOUTH, Saturday. A good performance was registered at the New Plymouth High School sports today, when J. Gordon won the high jump with a leap of sft 6-Jin. This is a great feat for a 14-year-old boy in his first year at school. The previous record of sft stin had stood since 1914. The senior championship was won by J. D. Ekdall, 19 points. D. Carter and R. N. Wynyard, 17 points each, tied for second.
