WINDOW PLANTS

■Window plants which have stood in the same pots for a 3*ear or two with just an occasional outing in the rain very frequently show signs of exhaustion. Xow that summer is here, it is time to give them a change of air and diet. Turn them out of the pots with the ball of soil still adhering Jo the roots, and plant them in good soil in the open garden. A- few weeks under such conditions will make a world of difference to them. Repot them again in the autumn.
