Man Found Hanging Henry Albert Crispin, aged 45, a married man, living near Canvastown, Blenheim, was found handing in a shed at his farm, the circumstances indicating suicide. —P.A. * * * Welcome to Lord Craigavon In connection with the forthcoming visit of Lord Craigavon, the Prime Minister of Northern Ireland, steps are being taken to give him a representative welcome by the Ulster-born people and their descendants residing in the Auckland district. * * * Linesman Killed R. Matthews, a linesman, living at Sumner, died in the Christchurch Hospital this morning. He received a fracture of the right arm and internal injuries when he fell from the top of a pole while working on the transmission line at Halkett yesterday. * * * Session Will End Soon In the Plouse this afternoon, replying to tho Leader of the Opposition, the Hon. G. W. Forbes, DeputyLeader of the House, stated it was anticipated the business of the session would be completed by Wednesday night or early on Thursday. The House rose at 1.10 p.m. till 2.30 on Monday.— ( P.A.) * * * Boating on Arapuni According to a new clause to the Lands Washing-up Bill, brought down by Governor-General’s message today, Dam Lake at Arapuni is to be declared navigable to permit boating. Another new clause provides for closing that portion of Wairoa Road along which the Dargaville branch of the Railway runs. Portions of land confined by the railway are to be given to owners who had access before as compensation.
