TROUT AT TAUPO
OPENING OF SEASON (Special to THE SUN) TAUPO, Friday. Though fairly plentiful, fish were not in the besJt condition when the trout-fishing season opened today. Many anglers were astir early and the launches wero busy all day. The following catches were made by parties on the ‘ various boats: —Sunbeam, 28; Dawn, 42; Whizbang, 16; Kingfisher, 4D; Tamili, 33; Minnehaha, 12. The largest fish in the different catches ranged from 71b to 7£lb.
