Another highly salaried woman ; employed by the American Government
is Miss Hildegarde Kneeland, Chief of the Economics Dejmrtment of Agriculture. She was appointed in 1921. Previously she did research work, and taught in college including Vassal-. Columbia University, University of Chicago, Kansas State Agricultural College, Maryland University and the University of Missouri.
