SOCIAL TO MR. F. S. MORTON
The staff of Porter’s Dye Works entertained Mr. F. S. Morton at a social at the Kozie Tearooms, Karangahape Road, last evening. Mr R Clarkson presented Mr. Morton -writh an inscribed gold watch and chain on behalf of tile staff, and referred to I the esteem in which Mr. Morton was held, expressing regret that he was severing his connection with the firm. He hoped it would not be long before Mr. Morton a-eturned to New Zealand ana took up his duties again. Mr. Morton spoke of the good-fellowship which had existed during the term of his management, and thanked the staff for its co-operation.
