ALLEY’S CHALLENGE

ACCEPTED BY WALKER DECIDING THE CRUCIFIX Tom Alley has issued a challenge to George Walker for a return match, and it will take place at the Town Hall on Monday evening. The conditions are that the match be on a winner “take” all basis and that the controversy about the “crucifix hold” be decided immediately after the bout or within 10 minutes. If Alley fails to come up to try the hold within 10 minutes of the conclusion of the match he is to forfeit the £IOO which lie has offered to any wrestler who can break the hold and if Walker is not prepared to attempt to break the hold within that time he is to forfeit £SO.
