JUDGES ASSASSINATED

BULGARIA HORRIFIED BY BRIGANDS’ DEED KILLED ON LONELY ROAD Australian and N.Z. Press Association SOFfA, Wednesday. The people of Bulgaria have been horrified by the murder of three Judges, including Dr. KYirateheff, president. of- the High Court. A notorious band of brigands stationed themselves at a lonely crossroad. They stopped every motor-car that went that way, and robbed the occupants.

When the brigands discovered the Judges, they made them strip to their shirts, placed them against a bank, and shot them dead. A fourth judge was spared because once he had been lenient with one of the brigands.
