WAIHI AUTOMOBILE ASSN.

DISPOSAL OF FUNDS Members of the old Waihi branch of tlie Auckland Automobile Association met last evening to decide liow the funds in hand should be disposed of. The branch has been out of existence for some time, an agency having been established in the town, and the accumulated funds, together with interest, will amount to something over £4O. Suggestions were made that the money should be given to the Waihi Borough Council for carrying out improvements at the Waihi Beach Reserve, and also that it should be Lised to help put in order the last portion of the beach road. It was eventually decided to hand the money to the council, Messrs. S. IT. Brow’n and H. D. M. Haszard being appointed to wait on the council at its meeting next week to come to an agreement as to how the money should be spent.
