COUNCILLORS WANT FORMER CONCESSION Thinking that it was time free tram J*f ere issued to them, members or the City Council asked last evening when such passes would be available. The Mayor, Mr. G. Baildon. said that the Transport Board was prepared to issue passes to councillors who had Secured a certificate from the Town Clerk. As part of the financial vear had elapsed, a rebate of 10 per cent, a month on the full cost of £6 6s a year would be made to applicants. At present a local body has no authority to obtain free passes for its members, but amending legislation will shortly be introduced into Parliament.
