Famous Singer is Charming on Concert Platform
Giannini Delights Town Hall A.udience
It was a very enthusiastic and warmly appreciative audience which attended the first concert of Dusolina Giannini in the Town Hall last evening. The singer’s charm of manner entirely captivated her audience, and the individuality of her dressing made her a striking figure on the concert platform. Her gown last evening was of flamecoloured satin beaute, fashioned on extremely simple lines. The deep “V’ decolletage was defined with a narrow band of gold lace and fastened with a jewelled brooch. The long skirt flared slightly at the back, forming a short train, and low on the hips was worn a gold metal belt. A striking colour contrast was achieved by the chiffon sleeves, which were of midnight blue, close fitting almost to the elbow witth long flowing ends falling to the hem of the skirt. Miss Molly Bernstein, the accompanist, was very becomingly frocked in a frielled peacock gown of ombre georgette shading from pale lemon to marigold.
