NEW TWEEDS FOR WOMEN
FRENCH DRESSMAKERS IMPRESSED A BRADFORD SUCCESS Times Cable. Reed. 10 a.m. LONDON, Monday. Bradford cloth merchants have successfully offered French dressmakers their new tweeds and woollens, for women’s dresses and coats. These are of light weight and soft texture. The colours are subtle even when they are bright, and several new weavings have greatly interested the Rue de la Paix. Collaboration between British merchants and Preach dressmakers has been closer than for some time, and promises a better understanding between them.
