ELDERLY WOMAN INJURED CARPENTERS FALL A fracture of his pelvis and severe abrasions to his head and arms \»cre suffered by Mr. Harry Houghton, aged 63, carpenter, as the result of falling from a ladder while working on a building in Grange Road, Mount Eden, yesterday morning. He was conveyed to tlie Auckland Hospital and this morning his condition is reported to be satisfactory. . . , . Through being knocked down by a cvclist at the corner of Remuera and lucerne Roads yesterday afternoon, an elderly woman, Mrs. Thwaites, of 2b Kora ha Street, Remuera, received a fractured rib and a severe cut on the Tho injured woman was attended to Iw Dr J- H. H. Wood and later removed to her home.
