MR. LANSBURY ANNOUNCES PERMISSION Australian ana N.Z Press Association LONDON, Saturday. Mr. George Lansbury, the first Commissioner of Works in the MacDonald Government, is fas bee' ming the “Fairy Godmother” of the Ministry’. He is often photographed sitting on children’s swings in parks, supervising the playgrounds. He announces that he will allow sun-bathing in Regent’s Park. “I am arranging a special site for sun-bathing, with a little shelter,” he said. As recently as two years ago people were fined for sun-bathing in the parks as indecent.
