Winny, of Christchurch, are at the Koyal Hotel. Mrs. E. A. Ransom, of Wellington, returned to the South last evening after spending a holiday ifi Auckland. The Misses Mary and Jessie Taylor, of Timaru, are the guests of their aunt, Mrs. Coldicutt, Symonds Street. • mm Mrs. F. Chester and Miss Joan Chester, of Auckland, are the guests of Mrs. J. E. Bell, Piako, Morrinsville. Mrs. Baird, sister of his Excellency tho Governor-General, left on her return to England on Saturday by the Rotorua. Mrs. Nat Madison has arrived from Australia and is staying with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. X, A. Xatlian. Princess Street. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Xichols, of Wellington, and Mr. and Mrs. O. Wright, of Rotorua, are guests at the Central Hotel, Mr. and Mrs. M. Mooney, of Ilorotiu, Waikato, are leaving by the R.M.S. Niagara for England, via Canada, and expect to be away for about eight months. Miss Tui Bews and Miss Kathleen Bevvs, who have been on a holiday trip to England, arrived at Wellington today and will come on to Auckland tomorrow. * * * Mr. and Mrs. B.
